This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you visit or use our websites, mobile experiences, and services that link to this policy (collectively, the Services). This policy is written for U.S. residents.

We operate as a credit broker/loan marketplace, not a lender. Some information related to financial products may be handled directly by our lender/broker partners (Partners) under their own privacy notices.

1) Scope

This policy applies to information we process as the business/controller for the Services. It does not cover:

  1. Information our Partners collect from you on their sites or apps after we forward or redirect you.
  2. Information processed by credit bureaus, payment processors, or identity‑verification vendors acting for Partners.
  3. Activities where another party is the controller/business.

Please review each Partner’s privacy notice before submitting an application with them.

2) Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information (examples are illustrative):

  1. Identifiers & Contact Data: name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, device identifiers, IP address.
  2. Application & Financial Data: income, employment status, housing status, requested loan amount/purpose; in limited cases, pre‑qualification data our Partners return to us.
  3. Government ID Data (limited): information provided for identity verification/KYC (e.g., last 4 of SSN) when required for matching or fraud prevention.
  4. Internet/Network Activity: browsing events, pages viewed, referral URLs, session logs, approximate geolocation, device and browser characteristics, cookies/SDKs.
  5. Inferences/Segments: score ranges, interest segments, or audience categories derived from other data.
  6. Communications: call/SMS/email content and preferences.
  7. Marketing & Analytics Data: campaign attributions, advertising identifiers, and cookie‑based preferences.

We collect information directly from you (forms, chats, calls, texts), automatically (cookies, pixels, SDKs, logs), and from third parties, such as Partners, identity verification vendors, lead providers, analytics/advertising platforms, and anti‑fraud services.

3) Why We Use Your Information (Purposes)

We use personal information to:

  1. Provide and operate the Services (match you with Partners; route your request; maintain accounts; provide customer support).
  2. Evaluate eligibility & prevent fraud (identity verification, soft checks where applicable, anti‑fraud/abuse).
  3. Comply with law (recordkeeping, regulatory, and audit obligations).
  4. Improve and secure our Services (debugging, analytics, quality assurance, research).
  5. Marketing & communications (send results, updates, promotions; personalize content; measure campaigns).
  6. Short‑term transient use (ad delivery/reporting without building a profile beyond the current interaction).
  7. Corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, financing, or sale/transfer of assets).

4) How We Share Information

We may disclose your information with:

  1. Partners (lenders/brokers/financial service firms) to evaluate eligibility, present offers, and complete applications. Partners are independent controllers/businesses and will provide their own disclosures.
  2. Service Providers/Processors that host our systems, deliver communications, verify identity, provide analytics/ads/measurement, detect fraud/abuse, and support operations (under contractual restrictions).
  3. Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs)/Credit Bureaus and identity‑verification vendors as needed for matching, fraud prevention, and eligibility checks (often soft checks first; hard checks are made by Partners if you proceed).
  4. Advertising/Analytics & Social Platforms for ad delivery, measurement, attribution, and audience management (subject to choices below).
  5. Legal/Regulatory/Government when required by law or to protect rights, security, and users.
  6. Corporate events in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction.

We do not sell financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or government ID numbers. We do not knowingly disclose information about children.

5) “Sale,” “Share,” and Targeted Advertising

Some states (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and others) define “sale” of personal information broadly to include exchanges for valuable consideration, and define “share” (CA) or targeted advertising (other states) to include cross‑context behavioral advertising. Our use of third‑party advertising cookies, pixels, or SDKs may be considered a sale or share/targeted advertising under these laws.

Your choices: You can opt out of (i) sale/share/targeted advertising and (ii) certain analytics cookies by using our Your Privacy Choices link and/or cookie controls (see Section 10). You may still receive contextual ads.

We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes requiring the right to Limit under California law.

GLBA/FCRA Note. Certain information processed in connection with consumer financial products/services may be subject to the Gramm‑Leach‑Bliley Act (GLBA) or the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and is exempt from some state privacy rights. Partners may act under their own legal obligations.

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure traffic, and provide ads. You can manage preferences via our cookie banner, your browser/device settings, and the Your Privacy Choices link.

Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt‑out of sale/share for California residents.

Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When no longer needed, we will delete or de‑identify information consistent with applicable law.
